  • Report for Billable time assigned to department

Since there isnt a way to create multiple organizations yet, i have relegated assigning clients as departments. Is there a way to track how much billable time ive assigned to a department without showing all closed tickets and manually adding it up?

    Hi Chris,

Here is where you should address companies you manage. https://help.comodo.com/topic-289-1-...nizations.html

You can create multiple companies, you can assign domain address for each for auto assignment of users, you can define special rates (if you don't define rates, global rates would apply) for their billing.

Once you set them up, you should be able to see the tickets under organizations from reports. When you close the ticket, we fill the time spent value and billable time value. So, you would see the billable time x rates as a cost item on cost report.

Please let me know if we can help with anything else.

The last line of the first paragraph says refer to "Managing Companies" for more information on adding organizations. The link just goes back to the main screen of the help pages. Ive found a button to "Add Organization" when your looking at a user, but the button itself does not function.

        1. I see the problem with the link you refer to, it is reported and would be fixed soon. You don't need to click that, you are on the right page stay on here: https://help.comodo.com/topic-289-1-...nizations.html
        2. You don't need "add organization", we removed that from product since companies should be created and managed through Comodo ONE Portal. So, you can create new companies from Comodo ONE Portal if you need.

Please let me know if you need anything else.

That did it. I wasnt aware that the ONE Portal was actually integrated with the Service Desk. Thanks for your help
